White Orchid at Oasis Wedding

Mandy & Anthony’s beautiful wedding was held at the White Orchid at Oasis in Ft. Myers, FL. The location boasts a unique landscape on the Caloosahatchee River with cobblestone pathways and lush tropical greenery. The couple’s wedding was a welcome retreat from the northern winter and guests enjoyed the beautiful area and celebration. The couple had a very unique but beautiful style. Instead of the typical coloring, we opted for a bold burgundy that looked lovely with all of the surrounding greenery.

The ceremony wouldn’t have been complete without the cutest and maybe tiniest little ring bearer. The couples sweet pup dressed for the occasion in a mini tuxedo complete with flowers. My memory of the ceremony was the tender moment when Anthony saw his beautiful bride walking down the aisle and all the emotions of the day came through. The couple married under an arch complete with their white and burgundy flowers with draping greenery and 14 of their closest friends and family by their sides. The river served as a beautiful and peaceful backdrop.

Although you really can’t top Anthony’s reaction to seeing his bride, my other favorite part of this wedding was the decor for the reception. I love seeing a place literally transform in front of your eyes and the hanging decorative glass really sealed the deal on this space. When you weren’t looking at the hanging decor, the white taper candles in gold holders and a pop of color throughout within the flowers and linens. And don’t even get me started on that dessert table. The naked cake stole the show, but if cake isn’t your think - there were an assortment of mini desserts to choose from. At the end of the evening, the couple let Chinese lanterns full of love and well wishes drift off into the sky.
