Meet the Planning Pros
About Kelly McWilliams Celebrations, Weddings and Parties
We came on the southwest Florida wedding scene in 2002 with a vision: to plan high-impact celebrations that have a low impact on the client’s stress level.
Not to brag, but we’ve perfected this mission.
A signature KMCWP event is stunning, of course, with incredible experiences designed to wow our clients and their guests. But we put the same effort into making wedding planning as fun as the wedding itself, and that effort shows. Our events have delighted clients and press alike for decades, having caught the attention of publications like BRIDES, WeddingWire, and Martha Stewart Weddings, which named us a “Best in Class” wedding planner.
“[Kelly] has a ton of experience to be able to back up what works and what doesn't. Her skills and the team that she has built are just absolutely incredible. She has such an eye for design and for bringing something to life from a brief description.”

Our Team
Kelly A. McWilliams (she/her), Owner & Designer
I love cookies as much as the next girl, but cookie cutters have never been my thing. After 20+ years in the wedding industry, each of my designs continues to be unique because each of my clients are unique. What may seem like a little detail to them can become a monumental force in my design — like centering the spectacular color palette on a snapshot from a recent trip to Italy, or coordinating with the caterer to serve a plate inspired by a beloved family dish. It’s details like these that make my designs feel thoughtful and special, and they’re exactly the reason why I keep coming to work every day more energized and excited than the last.

Nicholas Royka (he/him), Planner
I love a beautiful wedding as much as the next guy, but a beautifully executed wedding? Now that’s my idea of a good time. And as your right-hand man during the wedding planning process, it’s my distinct honor to take care of these details for you. You’ll be shocked at how fun planning a wedding can be when a pro (ahem, that’s me) takes care of the to-do list, budget, vendor meetings, contracts, timelines, and every other logistical complexity you could imagine.

Nicole Harrelson (she/her), Coordinator
When I got my bachelor’s degree in resort and hospitality management, I knew I was going to spend my days taking care of people. What I didn’t realize was that those people would be some of the most incredible humans I’ve ever met — people like you, your guests, and our fantastic vendors. It makes my job of bringing your wedding day plans to life that much easier. I love seeing the happiness and love that comes out in at our events — it’s unlike any other!

Madeline McWilliams (she/her), Coordinator
You could say that I’ve been training to be a wedding coordinator for my entire life, considering that my mom is the boss. She’s taught me a lot about my work, like how to style an intricate tablescape and double-check the seating chart. But there are some aspects of being a wedding coordinator that can’t be taught — like an instinct to personally greet each guest, or an obsession with getting the details right. And those are my favorite parts of the job.
Our Locations
We’re known for creating spectacular wedding weekends in Naples, Captiva, Sanibel, and Marco Island, but southwest Florida can’t contain our clients. They’ve brought us along to jaw-dropping locations like Ponte Vedra, Key West, and Mexican destinations like Punta de Mita. And, as a team of wanderlusts ourselves, we’re here for it!
“Kelly has extremely strong vendor relationships. She knows an array of vendors within your specific price range and will make sure to keep you within budget throughout every decision.”
