South Seas Wedding

Kim & Grant were such a fun, energetic couple to work with. They were truly in love and planning their wedding was fun from start to finish. Their wedding was held at South Seas Island Resort which is always picturesque and added a more tropical twist with oranges and purples. And to add to all of the magic, Grant created the driftwood arch where they exchanged their vows.

You know, I LOVE all things tropical. And so I loved the oh-so-Florida vibe that Kimberly & Grant had for their wedding more than anything else. Every last detail of their wedding encompassed the tropical Florida aesthetic, but it was done in the most elegant way. For instance we did cocktail hour landing mats under the hi-boys just to add some more palm leaves. If you ask me my favorite part of the day, it was watching Dr. Dan marry them, on the beach (with the 3-aisle ceremony seating I love to do). It was a touching ceremony and the smiles were infectious.
.
Also, I have to say that Kimberly + Grant were by far one of the most easy-going couples I have ever had. That feeling ran thru everyone on that day and we all; wedding party, guests and vendor partners felt it. Oh. And they had a chocolate chip cookie cake! (insert visual of me with jaw-dropped)

Kim remembers the reception reveal and said, " Seeing all of the hard work we put into planning (especially when we did it all in 6 months) and the details come all together when we got to see the reception space and take it all in just by ourselves for a couple moments was very special and rewarding." She also went on to say that her favorite part was, "Knowing that everyone in that room loves us and was there to support the start of our life together, getting to say thank you to everyone, and just getting to have fun with our best friends and family."
