Punta Mita Resort Wedding

Annelise & Garrett had a beautiful wedding in Mexico and it was an honor to be a part of their day. Both of them loved fashion, and you can see that in all the wedding photos. Wedding Photographer, Taryn Baxter, has seen her share of bad suits and styles (think crinkled linen suits). She loved how Garrett was able to pull off a beachy tone while still looking classy.

Before an incredible celebration, Annelise & Garrett’s closest family and friends gathered for a beach side ceremony under an umbrella dripping with orchids. Guests sat around the couple on long bench seats and various furniture. It was intimate, beautiful and full of love.

Photographer, Taryn Baxter said, “I see so many weddings where the bride and groom do things the way they think they are supposed to but Annelise + Garrett did things their way which I really loved.  They decided to forgo many wedding day traditions and instead threw an epic party which suited them and their friend group.  The guests had a great experience and I know that Annelise + Garrett really enjoyed themselves.”

Annelise + Garrett were very clear about their wedding reception. They wanted it to be one big party. And party it was! Their guests celebrated until the wee hours of the morning with fireworks, a packed LED dance floor, full glasses, heart pounding music, confetti cannons, pyrotechnics, and incredible neon light performers. ⁣Oh, and late night t-shirts that said #teamnosleep across the back. It will be the party that most guests share stories that start with, "Remember that time at Garrett and Annelise's wedding..."⁣
