Tarpon Lodge Wedding

Bari originally reached out, because planning a destination wedding from New Jersey can be challenging. She knew she wanted a SWFL beachy/bohemian wedding and Tarpon Lodge checked all the boxes. Her small, but extremely special wedding incorporated her amazing style and focused on the love between the two of them.

Krista from Impressions Photography shared her thoughts on the day. “I really love to capture the realness of a wedding day, the true emotion and all of the moments as they happen. This was so easy with Frank and Bari. Their true love for each other was so apparent. They are both such warm, welcoming people too, it was easy to capture that same love that they shared with their friends and family.” She continued, “As the photographer, it was really special to be a part of such a joy filled day and so inspiring to document that emotion. I love to tell the story of a wedding through pictures and Frank and Bari had a beautiful story to tell.”

We worked to select a florist that could bring Bari’s vision to reality and Floral Symphony did just that. The neutral, but beautiful hanging lanterns and greenery perfectly complemented the show stopping arch full of large monstera leaves, king proteas and tropical hot pink ginger. It was a perfect dance of a beachy tropical wedding meets boho chic.

Regarding the ceremony, Krista reminisced of the day saying, “If I had to pick one favorite I would say the ceremony. Bari and Frank's ceremony was a fabulous example of how perfect things can be even when it isn't exactly as planned. We had some looming storms that made the ceremony a little too risky to have outside. The ceremony was moved inside, but that didn't make it any less beautiful. The fact that it was that amazing even with the change of plans made it that much more special.”

After the ceremony, we quickly transformed the ceremony space into the reception. The head table was a long rectangle table full of their closest family and friends. The rest of the guests sat at rounds with large, tall centerpieces that perfectly tied the wedding together.

Krista, echoed all our feelings in saying, “It really was an honor to be a part of it. I'm literally still sitting here smiling as I just think about what a great day that was!”
