South Seas Island Resort Wedding

Amy + Bobby had the vision of a elegant wedding but a very beach chic. We actually used reality star Morgan Stewart’s wedding as background influence to design her wedding day.

What made her wedding phenomenal was that it was the entire weekend. We had a dolphin-sunset cruise to Cabbage Key, and a fiesta welcome party at the grooms family residence. It was the experience we created for her guests that made the weekend remarkable. Add to that an incredible band, spectacular culinary and the gorgeous backdrop...wow.

What I loved most about planning with Amy and Bobby’s mom was that they had as high standards as I did, they had excellent taste and they were on the same page the whole time. We all wanted to step back and see the most epic wedding happening. I miss them and their smiles and our phone calls.

Tiffany, from Hunter Ryan Photo, shared some of her favorite thoughts about the couple. She remembered, “They were truly about the people they surrounded themselves with.  Their wedding was such a fun weekend celebration - but the focus of the weekend - wasn't all about them - it was about bringing their closest friends and family together and celebrating.  They were so genuine in their love to each other and with the ones they loved.  I think that's what made the weekend so special.”

Like us Tiffany also enjoyed spending the whole weekend celebrating. She said her favorite memory was, “That it was a full weekend of celebrations that we had the opportunity to document.  Every fun moment was captured from their welcome party - to their sunset cruise - to the actual wedding day.  We love giving our couples photos of moments they didn't even get to catch in the busy of the fun of the wedding weekend. So capturing it from start to finish was so much fun for us!”

Finally, Tiffany reminisced, “They had a really fun boat ride for their bridal party that took them from their ceremony over to their reception.  We thought it was really fun because it gave their bridal party such a fun experience on Captiva to be out on the boat - but we were able to see Amy and Bobby just enjoy themselves.  No formalities - no more pictures - just them in their just married glow having some fun drinks on the boat as they cruised over to be announced on King's Crown Lawn for their reception.  We often see couples make a fun boat formal exit - but that was our first ever boat "entrance" and it was pretty epic!”
