Sea Palms Estate Wedding
Sims + Mike - oh, this couple, their story and the entire wedding planning will always be something to remember. I’ve planned a lot of weddings during the pandemic and they all come with their challenges, but Sims and Mike’s was a little bit different. We had their entire wedding planned and then the venue decided to cancel all events. As you know, if you’ve planned a wedding, a lot of the planning is based off of the venue and so, our planning was turned on it’s head.
Our Plan B ended up absolutely fabulous. We rented Sea Palms Estate. If you are familiar with this beautiful, private estate, it is perfectly located right on the water of Captiva Island. The estate itself is very large with 9 bedrooms and plenty of amenities. Sims and Mike were married out by the pool with the beach in the background.
We moved inside for a very modern and contemporary design. Sims loved the classic black and white and it was used throughout the reception. Large arrangements of all white flowers, like orchids and hydrangeas perfectly complimented the lower centerpieces. Guests enjoyed a fabulous dinner by Paper Fig Kitchen and even the reliving the food in pictures has my mouth watering.
