JW Marriott Marco Island Wedding

Amanda and Nick chose the J.W. Marriott Marco Island for their beautiful beaches and picturesque setting. The JW is known for their perfect white sand and grand ballrooms and Amanda and Nick’s wedding was able to take part in both of those features. When it came time to their first look, it was one of the sweetest and emotional moments of the day. The groom was both in shock and awe of his beautiful bride.

The two exchanged vows underneath the tiki hut on the beach. The hut was draped with fabric and greenery and orchids to match the bride’s orchid bouquet. The bridesmaids in soft blue and the groomsmen in navy suits we perfectly complimentary to the white sand and blue sea.

For their reception, Nick and Amanda were very clear. They wanted a party in a ballroom, not necessarily a wedding reception. Although this party did take place after the ceremony - the goal was to host an epic celebration that looked anything like a wedding. So from chopsticks handed to each guest at the ballroom doors, to Sushi Salerno to no formal seating and a bar at the center of the room; nothing was the norm. We built a custom sushi bar and I had the opportunity to show the reception space to Nick and Amanda before the party started. I think I nailed it based on the reactions on their faces!
