Ted & Shelby’s intimate outdoor wedding was an easy-going event to match the couples’ style. The weather was perfect to be able to enjoy the gorgeous Florida scenery on Captiva Island. The bride chose a gown with detailed lace, perfect for the tropical outdoor ceremony. The bridal party’s hair and makeup was artfully done by JLC Salon Spa Wedding, with the bride embracing a classic updo. The bride and her bridesmaids had time during the day to celebrate with some pre-ceremony champagne and robe photo time, in which the bridesmaids wore blue silk robes to match their dresses. The fun photos of this special moment and the rest of this eventful day were creatively captured by Maria Glassford Photography. The first look photos are an especially touching moment full of emotion and anticipation. The groom’s blue suit added contrast to the groomsmen’s gray suits while matching the bridesmaids’ silk dresses. The bouquets were a perfect blend of white flowers and lots of greenery, created by Signature Florals. The couples’ outdoor ceremony at South Seas Island Resort provided an ideal photo ready location near the water with a palm tree background. Afterwards, guests relaxed with a cocktail hour prior to the reception. After dinner, the couple was able to capture some beach photos before continuing their celebration. Guests were treated to a unique two tier square cake from Sweetified. The reception tables were decorated to coordinate with the bouquets in white flowers with foliage by Niche Events with romantic chandeliers overhead. The couple ended their special day while dancing to music by Jet Set Sounds.
