Intimate Outdoor Hotel Escalante Wedding

Hurricane Ian may have tried to ruin our plans, but we would not let it. The wedding was originally scheduled for the Port Royal Club in Naples that was destroyed by the hurricane, so we went to Plan B and then C and our couple still had the most magical night. They were married at an outdoor ceremony at the Hotel Escalante for their intimate ceremony which provided a picturesque location with lush, natural draping greenery alongside palm trees. The cobblestone pathways also provided an ideal aisle for the ceremony. The bride chose a long sleeve lace gown with open back and cathedral veil for the occasion along with gold Chanel shoes. The groom opted for a navy blue suit. The bride carried a single white flower down the aisle. Maria Glassford Photography captured the romantic details of the day along with the couples’ sweet outdoor bridal portraits. Guests enjoyed a cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres while waiting for the reception to begin. The table centerpieces were a beautiful mixture of white, peach, and pink blooms and greenery along with white taper candles in clear vases by Isn’t She Lovely Florals. The accent of votive candles provided additional romantic lighting for the tabletops. Guests were assigned tables with their numbers printed inside gold trimmed tropical shells. The rentals by Party Time, Plithos, and Coastal Event Decor of white tablecloths, coordinating chairs, and tropical bird plates all took inspiration from the Florida location. Guests were served a three-course meal and plated desserts during the congratulatory speeches. The new Mr. and Mrs. danced the night away along with guests outdoors beneath strands of twinkling lights hanging from above and on palm trees. Guests stayed entertained with music by Steve Farst. Pineapple Films captured all the excitement and joy of the day while the couple began their happily ever after.
